CLASSIFIED ad site Motors.co.uk is on a UK-wide search for what it’s calling the ‘most deserving student’.
Members of the public are being invited to nominate students who are ‘driven, dedicated and who have gone above and beyond for their friends and fellow students’ – with winners presented with £5,000 of Renault Twingo.
Motors.co.uk will then ‘whittle down’ the list to a top 10, and the public will vote on who they think should receive the Renault city car – with a panel of judges having the final say on who gets handed the substantial prize.
The Twingo its self – a 1.2 Extreme bought from Sutton Park Motor Group – was chosen for its ‘value for money’ and ‘cheap running costs’, and in ‘Motors.co.uk blue’. Prize winners will also receive £1,000 towards their university union or society of their choice.
The giveaway follows Motors.co.uk’s previous ‘most deserving’ awards – having this year awarded a £10,000 Ford Focus to ‘Most Deserving Local Hero’ Caroline Rutley Frayne, who suffered life changing injuries and the loss of her husband in a motorcycle accident.
Motors.co.uk’s Stephen Jury said: ‘We’re delighted to support one of the UK’s most deserving students and sponsor another ‘Most Deserving’ campaign.
‘We’re hoping that this next phase of the campaign will enable us to deliver real value to another deserving person.’
