LOOKERS Volvo in Colchester has appointed Mark Ball as its new local business development manager. He will be joining the already strong team in Essex.

Ball has more than a decade of experience in the motor trade and has worked in sales, both commercial and fleet, and business development.

Before joining the Volvo team with Lookers, he was a financial underwriter for a prime to sub-prime financial company.

He will be responsible for liaising with local businesses to help, advising on and facilitating their vehicle requirements, as well as attending events and promoting the latest Volvo business offers.

Lookers franchise manager, Miles Alvis, said: ‘Mark is a fantastic addition to our team.

‘His appointment will allow us to further improve our offering to new and existing local business customers. His ability to draw on his extensive business knowledge made him the ideal candidate for the role and we wish him every success at Lookers.’

Ball said: ‘There is a really motivated team here who are committed to providing great service to our customers and I want to continue to improve that standard even further.’
