New chief for IMI

new chief for imiLINDA Stansfield has been appointed the IMI’s first chief operating officer.

Starting in February 2009, Stansfield joins from training consultancy AGA Performance Ltd. There, she was account director for Ford at the Henry Ford College, Loughborough.

‘I am very much looking forward to joining the team at the IMI, and am excited by the many varied opportunities and challenges that lie ahead,’ said Stansfield.


‘With over 20 years experience in the automotive industry, I hope that my knowledge and understanding of the sector will help with the delivery of the company’s business objectives and, in turn, benefit the industry as a whole.’

IMI’s executive board chairman (and aftersales director of BMW Group UK), Steve Nash, said: ‘I am delighted to announce the appointment.

‘The IMI has undergone a period of unprecedented growth over the past year, and with many innovative projects planned, I am confident that Linda will be a great asset to the senior team.’
