DANIEL BURGESS has been appointed commercial director for BCA’s UK operations. He starts his new job on October 1.
Burgess (pictured) joins BCA from HPI where he held the position of managing director. His previous experience includes senior positions held with Alliance Global Assistance, Nissan and Vauxhall as well as roles in the retail automotive industry.
Burgess will be responsible for BCA’s sales operations and remarketing services business as the company gears up to meet future growth aspirations in terms of vehicle volumes and automotive service provision.
BCA managing director Spencer Lock said: ‘We are delighted to welcome Daniel on board at a time when BCA is delivering a wealth of initiatives in terms of services, products and online capability to meet the needs of our customers.
‘His extensive motor industry experience will be invaluable as BCA continues to innovate and develop to meet the new opportunities presented by the changing shape of the remarketing and automotive sectors.’
