The appointment brings Maserati’s dealer network to 19 – and six of those have been in the last nine months.
Ridgeway Maserati will initially operate from a temporary showroom on Cumnor Hill, Cumnor, Oxford from March 2014 before moving into a dedicated stand-alone Maserati car showroom – in line with Maserati’s plans to move its new dealerships away from sister brand Ferrari.
The new dealership in Cumnor, Oxford, will have full service and repair facilities and is set to open in May/June 2014.
John O’Hanlon, Ridgeway chief executive said: ‘This new relationship with Maserati, in their 100 year centenary, is the perfect fit for Ridgeway.
‘Maserati’s new model announcements will result in significant growth in volume and build on the brand’s widening appeal. Ridgeway investment in a stand-alone showroom in Oxford will offer the very best Maserati experience.’
Maserati North Europe’s network development manager said: ‘It is great news to have Ridgeway representing Maserati in the City of Oxford and we are delighted to have John O’Hanlon and the Ridgeway team on board. They bring a huge wealth of experience and knowledge of both the local area and the motor industry which will be invaluable to Maserati.
‘Being an existing local operator will also be a massive help in establishing us within the area. We are all very excited for the future of our brand as we welcome our new cars and our new dealer, Ridgeway Maserati.’
