Sturgess Motor Group backs BEN

Time 8:13 am, February 26, 2014

BENSTURGESS Motor Group has announced it’s supporting the motor industry benevolent fund, BEN.

The company, based in the Midlands, has signed up to support the ‘Backing BEN’ initiative that donates £1 to BEN from vehicles sold through auctions.

During 2014 the initiative will reach a total of £1m raised since its launch four years ago and is supported by the majority of leading automotive groups.

Sturgess managing director, Barney Sturgess, said: ‘Sturgess Group is pleased to support BEN, the industry charity in this way making regular contributions to help support colleagues and former colleagues across the industry who turn to them for help.’

Nigel Williams, BEN’s commercial development manager, added: ‘This is an easy initiative for dealers to participate in with all the major auctions able to facilitate the scheme and of course one small payment for each vehicle adds up to a significant contribution to BEN!’
