Sytner donates to BEN

Time 12:16 pm, July 20, 2011

ben-audi-2THE Sytner Group has donated the use of an Audi A1 to the automotive industry charity BEN.

The donation will enable Chris Brown, BEN’s regional development manager to visit companies all over the Midlands.

This will ensure staff know about the support BEN can provide if they find themselves in need, increase awareness across the region, and to raise vital funds for the charity.

The car was handed over to BEN by Sytner Group’s managing director, Gerard Nieuwenhuys.

Brown said: ‘We are extremely grateful to the Sytner Group for their enthusiastic support of BEN. Sytner were third the second year in succession in the Sunday Times ‘Top 25 Big Companies to Work for in 2011’ so we knew they adopted a supportive culture for their own staff.

‘Their generosity in providing the use of this vehicle demonstrates how committed they are to extending this ethos to support people from across the automotive community.  We look forward to continuing this partnership with Sytner Group for many years to come and I hope this will inspire others to make a difference.’

Nieuwenhuys said: ‘We are delighted to support BEN. Sytner constantly strives to be the “Best Company to Work For” and ensuring the well-being of our employees is one of our core aims. BEN carries out a fantastic amount of work supporting not only Sytner staff but staff from across the motor industry as a whole and I am pleased that we are able to assist them in their invaluable work.’
