TAGGARTS, part of the Lookers Group, has agreed an exclusive remarketing partnership with BCA.
The sales programme will manage more than 2,600 vehicles a year and includes sales every Tuesday at BCA Edinburgh and every Wednesday at BCA Livingstone.
Taggarts is one of the best-known names in the Scottish motor trade, with an established history dating back to 1896.
Today, the company forms the Scottish division of Lookers plc, one of the leading motor retail and distribution groups in the UK.
Nigel McMinn, pictured, chief operating officer at Lookers, said: ‘BCA brings the expertise and scale we need to support our used car operations. Their team have an in-depth understanding of the local market, and we are confident the partnership will support our aims.’
Taggarts operates showrooms in central Scotland and offers new and approved used cars for sale from Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo through dealerships in Glasgow and Motherwell.
The announcement confirms BCA’s market-leading position in the Scottish vehicle remarketing sector.
BCA chief commercial officer Craig Purvey said: ‘Taggarts is a leading brand in Scotland and we are working in partnership with the Taggarts team to structure a bespoke remarketing programme around their used car operations that will support their continued and profitable growth.’
