twitter_fail_whalejpgA three-way, weekend-long Seat sales fights has just begun in another battle organised on Twitter.

This weekend Daksh Gupta’s Marshall Motor Group, Robert Forrester’s Vertu Motors and Darren Williams’ Grants Seat will be fighting for honours in a straight sales fight to the finish.

Seat sites in Braintree (Grants), Derby (Vertu) and Leicester (Marshall) will be slugging it out all weekend egged on by their bosses.

Gupta told Car Dealer this morning that Grants were currnetly in the lead with one sale, leaving the bigger two trailing behind on zero.

The battle follows last weekend Twitter sales duel – organised by Gupta and Marshalls – between their York and Grantham Honda showrooms. Gupta’s team won that challenge by half a car so the competition is likely to be rife this weekend.
