THE chartered accountancy firm UHY Hacker Young is delighted to announce the addition of two new recruits to its automotive sector team in Manchester.
With a national-sector team in place already, David Kendrick and Paul Daly will add significant weight to the Manchester office operation, joining up with ex-colleague and tax partner Matthew Hodgson.
Both Kendrick and Daly held partner roles in their previous firm, gaining more than 10 years’ automotive experience before deciding to move to UHY Hacker Young.
Kendrick is renowned as one of the leading corporate finance advisors to the sector and has recently been involved in more than 60 transactions in the retail automotive market, as well as working with a number of private individuals and groups to grow their businesses.
He said: ‘I am delighted to have joined UHY Hacker Young who have both a national and international network that will give additional support to our automotive clients and contacts. Myself, Matt and Paul are looking forward to working as a team to build on our experience and work with automotive businesses on their short-term and long-term strategies.’
Daly has extensive experience in accountancy and has focused more of his unrivalled expertise on advising the larger groups in the sector, manufacturers with challenges overseas as well as providing support on several transactions.
He said: ‘I am very excited to join UHY Hacker Young and am looking forward to working with the team.’
