Main 3CARSHOP, one of the UK’s largest car supermarkets, will now sell brand new MGs at four of its stores across the UK.

Previously known as a used car retailer, CarShop has broadened its offering and has announced that four of its stores in Northampton, Doncaster, Swindon and Norwich will become official MG outlets.

The car retailer has confirmed that it will still remain focused on the used car proposition, but aims to attract a fresh audience through the sale of the MG3 supermini.

Buyers who wish to purchase an MG at CarShop can customise their new vehicles online and order them via the MG website or in-store.

CarShop has also announced that it will launch its own online ordering platform and will also extend its ‘reserve online and deliver or collect’ offering to MG customers.

In addition, CarShop’s Service Centre has also been authorised as an official MG service and repair centre.

Jonathan Dunkley, CarShops’ CEO, said: ‘Our partnership with MG has provided us with a very exciting opportunity to gage our ability to retail new cars as well as used.

‘We’ve just recently received our showroom and test drive models, and the buzz around these internally has been pretty fantastic. In-fact, we’re certain that these will prove a big hit with the people of our store areas.’
