Google will delve into their extensive research and reveal how consumers are using AI to find their next car during their session at the event.

The search giant has seen the way car buyers are looking for their next vehicle is evolving rapidly, with many starting their journey with a question and answer session first with AI.

These large language models are helping funnel car buyers down different routes and guide their car choices in different ways.

But how will that affect the used car marketplaces and the way car dealers advertise their cars? Will advertising costs go up or down? In Google’s session we plan to find out.

The firm’s Mohammad Lone, who has appeared at Car Dealer Live for the last three years, said Google research has looked extensively at AI’s role in car buying.

Lone, an automotive specialist for Google, said: ‘We’ll be discussing three areas which we think will really resonate with the Car Dealer Live audience.

‘These include consumer trends and the latest iteration of our Gearshift research which reveals how we’re seeing consumers interacting with AI in their car buying journey

‘We’ll also look at dealer trends and how we are seeing dealers leverage AI successfully and how YouTube presents an opportunity for dealers to connect with customers.’

Lone’s sessions have always been incredibly popular at our event. This year an as yet to be named colleague will be hosting the session.
