VERTU Motors plc has appointed experienced industry professional Mark Gibbings to oversee its premium Mercedes-Benz dealerships.
Mark, 41, joins the company as market area director for Vertu Mercedes-Benz Reading, Slough and Ascot. In his new position, Mark will be responsible for developing colleagues across the three sites, driving performance and ensuring that the best possible customer experience is delivered.
Initially starting his career as a parts advisor, Mark brings more than 20 years’ experience in the motor retail industry to his new position. Until recently, Mark oversaw multiple Mercedes Benz sites, managing more than 200 colleagues and a multi-million-pound turnover.
Mark said: ‘Vertu is a very forward-thinking company with great values and I saw this opportunity as one I couldn’t refuse.
‘I am looking forward to supporting and working with my fellow Mercedes-Benz colleagues.’
