Time 9:05 am, January 14, 2019

BATCHELORS Motor Group has opened a Suzuki dealership in York – its second site for the manufacturer.

The new showroom, adding to the Ripon site, is in Ings Lane, York Business Park, Nether Poppleton, and boasts a seven-car showroom as well as upwards of 35 cars on display. It also has a service reception as well as a ‘customer comfort area’ with workstation.

The family-owned group has been partnered with the manufacturer since 1996, and Antony Denton, sales manager for Suzuki York, said: ‘Having worked with Suzuki since 2013 when I joined the business, it is a huge privilege to be entrusted with opening the new site in York.

‘I am really looking forward to meeting our new customers and will do my utmost to ensure that their experience is memorable and enjoyable. We aim to create a warm and inviting customer environment where you will continue to deal with the same members of the Batchelors family over and over again.

‘Our company motto is “TLC not PLC” and we are committed to customer care. Batchelors has been established in Ripon for over 30 years and has helped its customers buy more than 1,000 cars every year. The customer care doesn’t stop there either – our workshops spend on average 12,000 hours per annum servicing customer cars and adhering to the Suzuki Service Promise.’

Dale Wyatt, director of automobile at Suzuki GB, said: ‘We are delighted to welcome Batchelors’ second Suzuki dealership to our network.

‘With over three decades of experience of successful trading in the area, they are very well versed in the needs of Suzuki customers. We look forward to continuing our strong relationship with the team at Batchelors.’
