Major Kia milestone for Chippenham Motor Company

Time 9:29 am, November 22, 2019

CHIPPENHAM Motor Company is celebrating 20 years as partner of Kia Motors.

To mark the milestone, the dealership was visited by Kia Motors UK sales director, Steve Hicks, and presented with an award.

Managing director of Chippenham Motor Company, Adam Bailey, accepted the accolade in front of the Kia team and several loyal customers, who were present to help celebrate the occasion.

‘In the beginning, we were one of only a handful of Kia dealers in the country,’ said Bailey. ‘We have watched the brand grow into something amazing and we are proud to have been part of that journey.’

Kia started trading in the UK in 1991, making Chippenham Motor Company one of the early adopters in this country. The brand sold around 1,800 vehicles in its first year in the UK, which is a mere 35 per cent of the sales figures for 2019 so far.

The Kia range now offers a huge variety of cars, ranging from city-cars to SUVs and the newly introduced Eco cars which include fully electric and hybrid vehicles, all of which are available at Chippenham Motor Company at Bumpers Farm Industrial Estate.

The impressive range can also boast winning more than 25 automotive awards in 2019 alone.

General manager Ben Munns noted: ‘The next few years are set to be a really exciting time for Kia, and Chippenham Motor Company as a Kia dealer.

‘Not only are the new models an amazing addition to the line-up, like the Kia XCeed and fully electric Kia e-Niro, we are expecting some really incredible new cars coming up in 2020 and beyond.’

Chippenham Motor Company, and its various trading names, is a family-run car dealership network in Wiltshire, with more than 21 years’ experience in the motor trade.
