Peter Vardy’s VIP event

Time 8:15 am, February 27, 2012

DEALER group Peter Vardy has sold more than 500 vehicles in just three days with the help of a car event solution firm.

The Rhino VIP Event is an off-the-shelf car sales event where customers are invited to an exclusive, appointment only VIP event complete with red carpet.

Peter Vardy Ltd staged Rhino VIP Events, simultaneously on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday at its seven dealerships throughout Scotland resulting in a record sales week.

Peter Vardy, chief executive, Peter Vardy Ltd said: ‘The Rhino VIP Event has an excellent reputation for making customers feel special and driving footfall.

‘The set up of the event, a closed showroom with blacked out drapes and a valet parking service created an atmosphere charged with excitement and anticipation which was completely managed by Rhino, allowing us to do what we do best – sell cars.

‘Not only did all Peter Vardy dealerships meet the ambitious targets for the weekend, but we blew them out the water with a total of 517 sales across the group. With results like that that we are already planning our next round of events.’

Rhino work with some of the UK’s leading manufacturers, motor groups and multi-brand retail sites with the record for the most number of sales in held by a south Wales dealership, until Peter Vardy’s Vauxhall dealership in Aberdeen crushed the record.

Lee Higgins, managing director at Rhino, said: ‘Over the past five years we have developed an unrivalled reputation for delivering an event with incredible results. The opportunity to work with such an established company as Peter Vardy has been an excellent showcase to show what we can do – and that the sales we guarantee actually happen.

‘From the moment the glossy invitation and VIP passes drop through the customers’ doors we are setting the scene for a premier event that engages with them on a level which lets them know they are the dealerships’ number one priority.

‘The sales, as a whole, for Peter Vardy have been excellent but we are especially delighted to have helped them break the record at their Aberdeen site for the most number of cars ever sold. It’s an incredible result for both Rhino VIP and Peter Vardy.’
