Nissan extends Cared4

Time 9:53 am, January 21, 2013

NISSAN has extended its Cared4 used car programme – now available until 31st March.

The scheme, which won ‘Manufacturer Used Car Scheme of the Year’ at our recent Wheeler Dealer Awards, was extended due to a ‘wealth of positive feedback’ from customers who took advantage of it last year.

Cars available through the scheme come with a range of checks: one to ensure there’s no outstanding finance, another to make sure the car isn’t stolen, and finally a multi-point check of the vehicle its self, carried out by Nissan trained technicians.

Buyers also receive a minimum 12 month warranty, with the option to upgrade to 24 or 36 month scheme if they so desire. However, the firm does limit the scheme to vehicles less than seven years old, and those with 75,000 miles on the clock.

Also included is a 30 day/1,000 mile exchange policy, and MOT test insurance covering parts up to the value of £750. Finishing up the package is a complimentary courtesy car when buyers’ vehicles go in for a service or repair.

‘There are already many reasons for customers to choose a CARED4 used Nissan and this offer strengthens the case still further,’ said Michael Auliar, used vehicle business manager at Nissan GB.

‘Our CARED4 programme was designed to build trust and reassurance for our customers and to provide additional value in buying a used car through the Nissan franchised network. The extension of this offer reaffirms our commitment to achieving that goal.’
