PEUGEOT dealers are preparing to take part in the UK’s largest car wash to raise money for Children in Need.
Following the brand’s Dream Wheels campaign last year – an online game that allowed kids and the grown-ups design their own dream car – 280 Peugeot dealers across the country will roll up their sleeves and shine-up as many cars as they can.
The car wash event will run across Peugeot sites throughout this week, with a target to raise £250,000 for the popular children’s charity.
The big clean-up will begin with a visit from TV star Peter Andre to the firm’s flagship dealership in Chiswick tomorrow.
To ensure dealers will have enough cars to wash, other makes and models are also welcome for a quick scrub down and Peugeot has also created a ‘Get Sudsy with Pudsey’ car washing kit that motorists can take home for a £5 contribution.
Peter Andre said: ‘I’m delighted to be able to offer my services to the UK’s Largest Car Wash in support of such a worthwhile cause. Pop down to Chiswick on 6th November and have your car cleaned whilst raising money for charity – what’s not to love?’
Sales manager at Hughes of Beaconsfield, Andy Laird, told the Bucks Free Press: ‘We’re really excited about supporting Children in Need for another year – this is a fantastic opportunity to raise money for a truly worthwhile cause and help disadvantaged children and young people in our local area.’
