Blackburn dealership plans to open £2m servicing centre

AU007485HIPPO Motor Group has announced plans to open a new showroom and servicing centre in Blackburn.

The Hampton-based car dealer is set to invest £2m into the development of the new centre at Trident Park located near junction six of the M65.

According to This is Lancashire, supercars including Porsche, Aston Martin and Bentley and will be among the cars rolling into the Trident Park showroom next month.


The company, which currently has 30 staff members and an annual turnover of £11m, was founded in 2006 by Tom and Richard Preston and has a prestige showroom at Sandringham Court on the Network 65 business park.

Managing director, Tom Preston, told This is Lancashire: ‘This is one of the most prestigious car showroom in East Lancashire and represents a significant investment for the Hippo Motor Group.

‘We are looking forward to welcoming customers into our new premises, and offering an unrivalled buying experience – whether they’re buying a hand- picked part exchange from Hippo Used Cars, an Aston Martin from Hippo Prestige, or leasing a car or van on contract hire from Hippo Leasing.
