Time 11:01 am, January 17, 2011

nissan1NISSAN is now open for business in Leicester as the doors of a brand new dealership have opened.

The new dealership sits alongside the existing Renault Leicester showroom and forms part of a ‘dual-franchise’. It will provide motorists with a wide choice of both new and used Nissan cars and vans together with expert servicing.

Following a programme of extensive building works, the new Nissan Leicester showroom will be overseen by general manager Mark Whitaker and his new team of sales executives, technicians, service advisors and administration staff.

The new site boasts fully equipped Nissan servicing bays and skilled technicians, along with a selection of approved used models and of course the latest new Nissan models.

Mark Whitaker, general manager at both Nissan and Renault Leicester, said: ‘Everyone at the dealership is very excited about this new partnership and about meeting customers, both old and new, and guiding them through the complete Nissan range.

‘We’re confident the new venture will give our customers an even wider choice of facilities whilst still retaining all our existing Renault services and of course our very high standards of customer care.

‘It’s also encouraging to be able to create new positions at the dealership.’

An official opening evening for Nissan Leicester is scheduled to take place on February 3, 2011.
