Bristol Street Motors Worcester joins Citroen’s UK family

Time 8:46 am, September 18, 2020

Bristol Street Motors’ Worcester dealership has joined Citroen as a franchised retailer.

The move coincides with the launch of Citroen’s new C3 supermini and the first model in its electrification range – the C5 Aircross SUV Hybrid, which is the brand’s first plug-in hybrid.

Bristol Street Motors is part of Vertu Motors, and Vertu chief executive Robert Forrester said: ‘I am delighted to grow our partnership with Citroen UK. It’s a brand we like, and we can see a strong product renewal plan and enjoy a strong, open relationship with the senior management team. We are already planning additional new sites with Citroen.’

Eurig Druce, managing director of Citroen UK, said: ‘It’s fantastic to see our representation grow with Bristol Street Motors and it was my sincere pleasure to visit and welcome the team recently.

‘As a group, they set benchmarks in many business areas, and as we renew our representation in a number of key markets Bristol Street is an important partner for the future.

‘Our “Team Citroen” approach continues to deliver a strong working ethos with our partners as we continue with the exciting challenge of launching 11 new model versions in the next 16-month period.’

The Cosgrove Close dealership, which also has a Ford franchise, has ensured the site complies fully with all Covid-19 guidelines. Among the measures are a one-way system for customers and staff, as well as sanitising stations and stringent cleaning protocols. Customers are also asked to book appointments.
