Ewards 2012: The Winners

Time 9:02 am, October 26, 2012

THE waiting is finally over as we can now reveal the results of this year’s Car Dealer Magazine Ewards!

This year’s event, held in association with Autotorq.com, was combined with a hugely successful Online Experts Conference at the Heritage Motor Museum, Gaydon.

At the event on Wednesday, October 24, the winners of our prestigious gongs were handed their Ewards.

This followed a stringent short-listing process by our Eward judges with the winners being picked by the public after voting took place on MotorTorque.com.

The Ewards presentations followed a series of fascinating speeches from our judging panel who each gave their advice to our assembled delegates.

There were talks from headline sponsors Autotorq.com, iVendi, Autos On Show, Auto Trader and Razsor in the first session. While the second session included speeches by Dianomi, Contact Advantage, Tradeouts, The Auto Network and Google.

A full report on the hints and tips they all gave away will be published in the next issue of Car Dealer Magazine in print and on our free iPad App, where you’ll also be able to see videos of the speakers in full flow! It’s out in mid-November.

The event was covered on Twitter by the @CarDealerMag team too and by many of the delegates who were tweeting live on the day using the hashtag #Ewards12.

‘Thanks to @CarDealerMag for putting on such a great event,’ tweeted @AutosonshowTV.

Porsche dealer Phil Raby added: ‘Some great advice at @CarDealerMag event. Aimed at large dealers but relevant to smaller ones too.’

And independent dealer Umesh Samani – who won the Alfa Romeo bike which was given away in the event’s free prize draw – added: ‘Sorry not been tweeting today. Been to @CarDealerMag #Ewards12 and it’s been very exciting. GREAT DAY.’
