Car Dealer Magazine to go digital for next three months

Car Dealer Magazine will be published in an interactive online magazine and downloadable PDF version from April for three months.

We have taken the tough decision today to pause the physical publication of the magazine as many car dealerships across the country shut their doors.

During this difficult period we will be focusing our efforts on our new website – which has seen unprecedented levels of traffic from dealers desperate for information – and a digital version of the magazine, published once a month.

We are making the digital issue available to download for free – opposed to the previous £1.99 charge – and each issue will also be available to download as a PDF.

Any advertiser booked into the next issue of Car Dealer Magazine (146) will be contacted and will have the option to continue their advertising in the digital issue and on this website. We hope as many suppliers as possible help support us during this difficult time.

Car Dealer Magazine – like much of the industry – will be forced to furlough staff during this time and we hope that by taking these steps now we can come back when we’ve got through this as a country to publish again.

Since the launch of our new website on Sunday morning, Car Dealer’s website has attracted more than 100,000 visitors in two days.

The free-to-download digital magazine will be promoted to these users online and via our email database.
