EVERY YEAR, CDX puts motor trade trends under the microscope and themes emerge from the day that solidify what you can expect to see in the coming months.
This will be more evident than ever, with our four headline partners presenting their original research on four different areas of the market. Each has prepared a detailed document of their findings, which will be exclusively released at CDX today and presented in keynote deliveries on the Live Stage.
As part of our preparation, I’ve been able to read them – and I can tell you, they don’t disappoint.
Something I’m really excited to see is the Dealership of the Future Zone. Here, businesses will bring to life exciting new products available for your showroom. It’s far more than this though – as the future of the physical dealership is constantly questioned, this area really highlights the importance of a joined-up approach.
Delegates at CDX will get to see and experience firsthand how easy it is to make more money from their business with these new strategies, regardless of the size of their showroom or their stock profile.
Speaking with zone sponsor GardX, as well as GForces and Crucially Digital who will be displaying here, it’s really clear that there are huge opportunities and this is part of the show not to be missed.
The CDX workshops are a highlight for me this year. For the first time – and in response to your feedback from last year – we’ve got several car dealers in the workshops explaining how they have improved their dealerships with different digital strategies.
Fiona Cottle, head of people at Sytner Car Supermarkets, will be hosting a workshop on how to make your dealership a place where people want to work. It’s something that she has spoken passionately about to me and will definitely inspire anyone who attends this session.
That is the point I can’t mention enough this year: these fantastic workshops all offer something you can put into practice at your own dealership immediately. Whether you’re looking for new digital strategies, to maximise margins, protect your business or its people, there’s really something for every car dealership.
