CitNOW reaches Down Under as video goes global

Time 2:44 am, November 2, 2016

AUTOMOTIVE video technology expert CitNOW has reached the other side of the world, with its first video being produced at a dealership in Australia.

Using CitNOW’s app-based smartphone technology, CitNOW’s sales director Gordon Grant recorded and streamed a video presentation of a vehicle workshop at a Volkswagen dealership in Melbourne, which has become the first outlet in Oz to use the British-built system.

CitNOW enables retailers to send personalised videos to customers via their smart device or desktop computer with specific apps designed for different areas of the business including sales, workshop, bodyshop and a web product for online classifieds.

Australia joins a host of global automotive markets harnessing the benefits of personalised video communications, with CitNOW present in 16 European markets as well as the Far East and the USA.

The CitNOW business is projected to continue on its upward trajectory, as the motor industry across the world embraces the benefits of using video to communicate with its customers.

Alistair Horsburgh, CEO at CitNOW, said: ‘The arrival of CitNOW in Australia reflects the truly global relevance of video for the automotive industry and signifies the clear shift to more consumer-focused, technology-led communications.’
