MG Motor UK has launched a bold, modern logo as part of a completely new corporate identity for its dealer network.
The announcement is no coincidence however, as the new corporate identity will help the soon-to-be-launched MG6 make a bold appearance in its showrooms.
The historic MG octagon is retained, but given a striking new look that completely refreshes the brand image. And a strong, vibrant red is now part of the overall corporate design. The ‘look’ will be rolled out to dealers in the coming weeks.
Guy Jones, MG’s sales and marketing director, said: ‘This strongnew image takes the company into the 21stcentury. It links MG’s famous past with an exciting future and comes just months ahead of us launching the all-new MG6 sports fastback.
‘It’s a bold move and design that reflects how positive and confident we are about MG’s future.’
It was confirmed earlier this week that a four-door saloon will soon be rolling off the assembly line at MG Motor UK’s plant in south Birmingham alongside the MG6 sports fastback.
