Don’t miss the new-look digital edition of Car Dealer Magazine – it’s free and it’s packed with news, exclusives and more!

Time 1 year ago

Car Dealer is jam-packed with automotive goodness that’s not to be missed – and it’s all free!

It’s had a refresh for the latest edition that makes it even better suited to the digital era, especially for mobile users because more than 90 per cent of our readers visit us via their mobiles now.

The magazine links to videos, and you can move around it by clicking on links in stories or straight from the contents page.

The layout is also now easier to read on a mobile screen, with the number of columns on a page displaying the stories more like those you’ll see on a webpage.

Font sizes have been increased, colours changed and we’ve freshened up the design of all the pages.

You can download the magazine by following the links at the bottom of this story to get reading now on your desktop, phone or tablet. We’ve got news, views, interviews, advice and more. But what’s actually inside the mag? Here’s a taster…

  • ‘It’s an awful thing to say, but we’ve had a really good lockdown’

Marshall Motor Group CEO Daksh Gupta has proved to be the veritable pandemic poster boy. In an exclusive interview, among the topics covered he predicts what the future may well hold for the industry. Pages 12-15.

  • Lifting the lid on Carzam

Peter Waddell’s online used car dealership is set to launch in September, and James Baggott was whisked away by helicopter to chat to the man himself at his luxury home as well as the vast preparation centre in Peterborough. Pages 26-28.

  • Petrol versus electric

Darren Cassey tests the present and future of performance cars. Pages 30-31.

  • Advice

Our ever-helpful advice section examines fraud, has top tips to sell your cars via Facebook Marketplace, examines flexible furlough and redundancy, and takes a look at test drives. Pages 45-51.

  • Forecourt

We put Volkswagen’s T-Roc Cabriolet and the Lotus Elise Cup 250 to the test. Pages 22-25.

  • Columnists

James Baggott, Big Mike and James Litton give their regular and unique perspectives on the industry – you’ll find them on pages 39, 40 and 43 respectively.

There’s so much more for you as well and it’s all free, so don’t miss out!
