mobil-1-f1-aEXXONMOBIL Lubricants and Petroleum Specialties Company has launched the Mobil 1 Business Performance Programme.

The Mobil 1 Business Performance Programme is an information portal designed to provide UK car dealers with a competitive edge and incorporates innovative digital marketing, sales and training resources, developed in close consultation with leading UK car dealers, to help companies maximise lubricant sales and profitability.

It comprises six core modules (training; products information; marketing; digital, events and OEM) to provide dealers with the tools to promote and sell Mobil 1 branded lubricants more effectively.

The modules have been developed to meet needs expressed by dealers for enhanced product support. Developments include Glovebox – a unique customer communications tool that enables dealers to engage directly with customers using the internet.

Staff training is another key part of the programme and explains how customers benefit from improved engine protection and fuel economy performance, while dealers benefit by moving from a commodity to a value-added sales approach.

Stuart Milne of ExxonMobil Lubricants & Petroleum Specialties, said: ‘Dealers are facing challenging times. With reduced new vehicle sales, and fierce competition squeezing margins for services such as MOTs and vehicle checks, the Mobil 1 Business Performance Programme will help dealers unlock the full business potential of Mobil 1 lubricants.

The launch at the McLaren Technology Centre

‘Selling high quality Mobil 1 synthetic lubricants is a win-win for both the dealer and customer, and the Mobil 1 Business Performance Programme will provide the tools for dealerships to capitalise on this opportunity.’

The Performance Programme was officially launched at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, Surrey at an event attended by high profile dealerships throughout the UK.

McLaren managing director, Jonathan Neale, said: ‘We’ve had a very successful relationship with ExxonMobil that is now in its 17th year. ExxonMobil’s ongoing commitment to innovation, professionalism and expertise is second to none and we are extremely proud of our Technology Partnership. The Mobil 1 Business Performance Programme is a great example of how ExxonMobil goes the extra mile to help their partners and customers drive their business forward.’
