THIS year at CDX our delegates will get the opportunity to put new or existing businesses under scrutiny in the expo hall and find out if they can improve their dealerships.
However, for the first time, three fledgling products will go under the microscope on the Live Stage… in the Dealers’ Den.
It won’t be Car Dealer Magazine quizzing them, though. We’ve got four ‘dragons’ who make important decisions for their businesses every day to ask the questions and vote for the best contender.
Dealers’ Den, in association with Cox Automotive, will take place at 11.15am on the Live Stage at CDX 2019. If you haven’t registered for your FREE tickets yet and want to watch, get them here.
Our first ‘dragon’ is a CEO who has been known to be frank on the Car Dealer Live Stage in previous years and launched his own dealer group just 18 months ago: Waylands Automotive chief executive John O’Hanlon.
Joining him will be the CEO of one of the largest dealer groups in the country and which is still growing at a staggering rate: Marshall Motor Group boss Daksh Gupta.
Imperial Cars operations director Neil Smith has been seeing the used car retail group through a massive growth period in the past 12 months. He’s not been afraid to look at the business model differently to achieve positive results.
Last, but by no means least, Liam Quegan is the man behind the money as the managing director of NextGear Capital.
It’s a line-up of business leaders with great buying power who will scrutinise our contenders without fear or favour.
So, who will be facing the ‘dragons’?
Three businesses have been selected to present their case to win our PR and marketing prize. They will stand up in front of the ‘dragons’ and our Live Stage audience at CDX 2019 to pitch why their products are the next big thing.
Find out all about them and hear what our ‘dragons’ have to say by registering for your free ticket to CDX 2019 here
