GUILDFORD Audi is undergoing a £3m refurbishment, with work set to be completed in October.
The redevelopment will give the dealership – part of the Lookers group – a larger vehicle display area as well as a private lounge where customers can configure and customise cars on an 80-inch projector screen.
The workshop will benefit from an additional four ramps which, on top of the six ramps at the recently acquired on-site preparation centre, will significantly cut servicing waiting times.
There’ll also be a modern handover facility that aims to improve the car-buying and aftersales experience for customers while also extending employees’ workspace.
Once the project is finished, there will be a launch event for customers, residents and suppliers.
Cameron Wade, franchise director for Lookers Audi, said: ‘The future is very bright for Audi. We have the versatile A6 and Q8 launching in the new year, and of course we’re taking orders for the highly anticipated, aero-focused, fully electric e-Tron.
‘This new dealership will be the perfect way to showcase these fantastic cars, and it reflects the high bar that Audi sets itself with regard to both design and craftsmanship.’
