INFINITI’S M35h hybrid saloon will cost £46,840 when it reaches UK Infiniti Centres in April the firm has announced.
The only hybrid model in the M35 range, the M35h GT Premium model costs just £1200 more over the equivalent non-hybrid M35 model.
At the heart of the M35h is the Infiniti Direct Hybrid system, a new-generation drivetrain whose one electric motor/two clutch layout delivers performance and efficiency without compromises while enhancing the responsiveness essential for maximum driver appeal.
In addition the Infiniti M35h is equipped with innovative new hybrid electric power steering and regenerative braking, a hybrid dashboard display showing energy flows and a low-speed audible warning system (VSP) to help ensure the safety of pedestrians and other road users.
359bhp is produced from the petrol engine and electric motor which gets the saloon to 60mph in a shade over five seconds while returning 40.4mpg, and 162g/km of CO2.
Premium heated and ventilated leather front seats, bi-Xenon lights with adaptive front lighting system, power seats and steering column with heated steering wheel, a 30GB HDD navigation system with high-res touch screen, and a 16-speaker Bose surround sound system all come as standard. The only option is metallic paint at £679.
Infiniti has also announced that the new car is in £155 VED Band G for annual road tax.
