JCT600 celebrates Best Company status by treating 2,300 colleagues to lunch

Time 10:27 am, March 1, 2016

JCT600 marked its two-star accreditation from employee engagement specialists Best Companies by treating all colleagues at its head office and 50 dealerships across the north to a celebratory lunch.

The accreditation also earned it a place in the Sunday Times ‘Best 100 Companies to Work For’ list for 2016 where it was ranked number 84.

More than 2,300 JCT600 colleagues not only enjoyed lunch courtesy of the company last Friday, as part of the first National Best Companies Day, but customers also joined in the fun as the motor retailer played videos of colleagues ‘strutting their stuff’ to some ‘happy’-themed tunes to show just how engaged they are.

Katie Saunders, HR director for JCT600, said: ‘We really are enormously proud to have achieved this accreditation and wanted to make sure that colleagues and customers were included in our celebrations.

‘Colleagues got involved filming videos, making cakes, holding raffles – it just took on a life of its own! It’s fantastic to be part of a nationwide day of workplace festivities and we want to thank all of our colleagues for helping to make JCT600 so special.

‘Needless to say, our job isn’t done yet. We want to continually improve the way that JCT600 colleagues feel about the company and will strive to achieve three-star accreditation next year.’
