MOTOR trade legal specialists Lawgistics have taken a prime stand at this year’s Car Dealer Conference & Automotive Expo and will be offering FREE legal advice during the event.
Lawgistics managing director David Combes will be available to answer questions on any of the matters affecting your business, along with other members of the legal team.
The event takes place at Silverstone on June 9 and it’s free to attend for dealers.
Sales manager Ian Gardner said: ‘We are so pleased we secured our stand early this year with demand for places being so high. Last year’s Car Dealer Expo was a brilliant place to meet clients and make new contacts, but 2015 is shaping up to be even better.
‘We’re bringing more legal advisers to deal with the expected demand. So please bring yourselves and your questions along to stand P110.’
The team will also be leading a workshop session at the conference about employment law.
David Combes, pictured, added: ‘Employment law is an ever-prominent ‘‘elephant in the room’’ for businesses, with many employers struggling to keep up with the constant legislative demands and changes being imposed upon them. We will be covering issues such as shared parental leave, long-term sickness and holiday pay.
‘We will seek to address the key issues most clients will face and offer guidance on how to interpret the legislation and implement it into your business on the ground level.’
Combes will also be talking about the recent changes to the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the amendments to the Sale of Goods Act and the effect this will have on the motor trade.
He will also be giving advice on a customer’s right to a repair, replacement, reduction or refund and demonstrating the importance of having a claims and complaints policy.
