Time 8:40 am, August 29, 2013

ManheimMANHEIM’S Bristol auction centre has seen a 24 per cent increase in the volume of vehicles sold in the first part of 2013.

The Bristol site offers more than 75,000 vehicles each year and these record sales figures have resulted in the recruitment of 11 additional new staff members to the team.

The new team members include inspection and yard personnel, along with a new assistant general manager focused on service delivery.

Meanwhile, Manheim has also completed two internal promotions to the roles of assistant general manager operations and buyer services manager.

General manager at the Bristol site, Brett Henderson, said: ‘The team has done a fantastic job in the first half of this year to deliver such impressive uplift in volumes.

‘Introducing vendors, such as Ridgeway, Silver Street, BMW and Ford Thorne, has ensured a comprehensive mix of vehicles, delivering a 20 per cent increase in the number of registered buyers.’

He added: ‘As a result, we’ve recruited to ensure that we continue to maintain our high standards of customer service.

‘We expect to see further growth over the second half of 2013, and are committed to ensuring customers receive the same level of quality as they are used to.’
