MARRIOTT Motor Group has increased its number of dealerships across Suffolk and Norfolk to 10 – and has embraced the Skoda brand for the first time.
Previously, the group’s nine dealerships sold Audi, Volkswagen and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
Now, though, Skoda is being introduced following the acquisition of Walkers Skoda in Kings Lynn. The dealership will undergo a significant refurbishment and rebranding later this year to reflect Skoda’s new corporate identity.
Fraser Burdett, the general sales manager at Kings Lynn Audi, will become head of business for Walkers Skoda. He has been with the group since 2012 when he joined as business manager at Bury St Edmunds Audi.
It is a period of growth and transformation for Marriott Motor Group,. It has launched 10 new websites, working with Bluesky Interactive, to switch from one generic group website one group site complemented by a website for each of its dealerships.
Gemma Clowes, the group marketing coordinator, said: ‘The imagery you see across the websites was taken at our dealerships – we wanted to convey a sense of the family-run, community-minded group we are. We hope our customers will recognise the staff they see in our dealerships on our websites, and that these sites are familiar and user-friendly for them.’
