Manheim's new dealers

Time 12:07 pm, October 2, 2012

TWO leading dealer groups, Marshall Motor and Ridgeway, have teamed up and signed a remarketing deal with auction house Manheim.

The new contract will see Manheim handle sales of over 45,000 vehicles over three years – a number worth in excess of £160 million.

Using both physical and online channels, Manheim will manage the two groups’ part exchange, off-lease and other vehicles that require remarketing from any of Marshall and Ridgeway’s 90 outlets and 30 brands combined.

‘We needed an organisation who could handle all the specific remarketing requirements of both our businesses and also provide us with other solutions’, said Daksh Gupta, Chief Executive of Marshall Group.

‘We’re pleased to have appointed Manheim, as I believe they not only have the full suite of products and services, but also share a similar culture of innovation and a ‘can do’ attitude.’

The new programme launches in October, and will operate from Manheim’s three ‘premier’ auction sites – Leeds, Bristol and Colchester. Around 300 vehicles per week will flow through the sites, while simultaneously appearing online on Simulcast – their live bidding website.
