Mazda connects customers to retailers with a new dealer blog

2cd1865b-25a7-4e95-ab47-186d00c5cdc9THIS week, Mazda UK launched its brand new dealer blog, which it hopes will engage customers with its dealer network.

The new site – www.mazdadealerblog.co.uk – has been created by automotive digital design specialists GForces, as part of the manufacturer’s new dealer digital marketing strategy.

Its aim is to share the latest news, online video content, new model launch information and details of local dealer events with Mazda customers, enthusiasts and prospective buyers.

The consumer-facing blog will provide a central forum for users to interact directly with Mazda’s dealer network as well as provide information about aftersales and Motability offerings, which will be regularly updated.

A helpful ‘Dealer Locator’ function will also enable easy access to details of the user’s nearest Mazda dealership, giving them the option to be directed straight to the dealer’s own website.

James Crouch, digital marketing manager at Mazda UK, said: ‘Mazda’s new dealer blog is designed specifically to bring the Mazda dealer community together through a central blog site where dealers can interact directly with fans and customers and share information in a friendly and familiar environment.

‘Mazda is increasingly using new channels to communicate with its ever-growing fan base and the blog will be a key way of reaching this new audience.

‘We are also increasingly using online content to complement our marketing campaigns, such as our recent ‘Surprising Drive’ activity which invited customers to play a virtual game with a chance of winning an unconventional test drive in one of three amazing locations. Today, online platforms are playing a particularly important part of our interaction with customers.’
