Motorpoint’s new man

63017motDERBY-based car supermarket Motorpoint has appointed Adam Reynolds as its first-ever recruitment manager.

Reynolds joins Motorpoint from BTG, a Nottingham-based financial recruitment firm. The 30 year-old has been recruited by Motorpoint to oversee the recruitment process for the company’s five sites throughout the UK – Burnley, Derby, Glasgow, Newport and Peterborough. Motorpoint currently employs in the region of 350 people.

The company’s headquarters at Derby will be where Reynolds is primarily based, where he will report to Keely Hemmings, head of human resources.


Reynolds said: ‘I am delighted to be joining Motorpoint. I got to know the company well during my time with BTG and when this opportunity arose I didn’t need to be asked twice.  As the company’s recruitment manager It will be my job to oversee the whole recruitment process – ensuring candidates not only have the right skills base but share the same ethics that are displayed within Motorpoint’s core values.’
