Motors’s new van channel

Time 1:23 pm, February 15, 2012

MOTORS.co.uk has just launched a new vans channel, which replaces the firm’s sister site, vansunited.com.

The moves comes in the wake of increased van registrations in 2011 and a bumper year for commercial vehicles, and traffic will be re-directed to the new vans channel on Motors.co.uk.

New search functionality has been developed, along with SEO landing pages and a new vans homepage, which is a simplified version of Motor’s used cars website.

The new vans search tool utilises the same functionality as the used car and dealer searches on Motors.co.uk, via two tabs – Vans and Van Dealer.

All existing van dealers will be automatically migrated to the new vans channel on Motors.co.uk and Vehicle Stand Out will be available to dealers with the same sales process and switch-on for cars. The dealer search will also be extended to include van dealers.

Phill Jones, commercial director at Motors.co.uk said: ‘Our new channel now presents vans in an improved, more structured way. We have built the new vans channel to mirror the functionality of our cars channel with multiple make and model van searches.’
