Time 4:06 pm, October 31, 2011

inchcapeDEALER group Inchcape has acquired a new site and have announced plans to turn it into a new Volkswagen showroom.

On behalf of Inchcape Estates Limited, Colliers International has bought the 33,000 sq ft premises, which includes two acres of land, from Telford and Wrekin Council. Planning permission has been granted to convert the unit into a new Volkswagen dealership.

Ben Briant, associate director in Colliers International’s automotive and roadside team in Birmingham, said: ‘Telford has long been a prioroty for both Inchcape and Volkswagen to relocate. Stafford Park provides an ideal opportunity for Inchcape to develop a new Volkswagen car dealership alongside complementary users.’
