040112sea-dSG PETCH dealerships are set to make a donation to charity for every new car sale they make in September.

According to The Northern Echo, the five dealerships in Durham, Darlington, Middlesbrough, Richmond and York will donate £5 from each 63-plate sale to Macmillan Cancer Support and Butterwick Hospice.

Director of the SG dealership chain, Samantha Petch, has set a target for the scheme to raise up to £10,000, which will be shared between the two charities.

Petch told The Northern Echo: ‘We are proud to associate SG Petch with Macmillan Cancer Support and Butterwick Hospice at Bishop Auckland and hope we can donate a significant amount towards helping these two great charities.’

She added: ‘Our first event will be our coffee day to be held on Friday August 30 at each of our five dealerships across the North East.’
