MOTORPOINT, one of the UK’s leading car supermarkets, opened a new site in Chingford, Essex today.

The new outlet has more than 500 new and nearly new vehicles available to view and access to more than 3,000 more models available through Motorpoint’s group stock.

The opening of the Chingford site represents the first step in an ambitious expansion plan for the Motorpoint brand in the south-east.

Already operating five successful sites in England, Wales and Scotland, the company is confident that its offering of low-priced vehicles, massive customer choice and high levels of customer service will be welcomed by motorists across London.

David Shelton, Motorpoint’s owner and managing director, said: ‘I am personally very pleased that our first venture in the south-east is in Chingford and I am looking forward to providing our customers with access to the fantastically priced vehicles Motorpoint has built its reputation on.’

The opening of the new showroom has already created many new jobs locally with up to 50 new recruits required in total before the end of the year.
