STARTIN Group has become a Suzuki franchisee after taking over the Japanese brand’s St Peter’s dealership in Worcester from the Hylton Group.

The newly opened Startin Suzuki showroom in Bath Road, Broomhall, features a dedicated customer lounge with a display of the manufacturer’s latest accessories and branded merchandise, as well as complimentary wifi and refreshments.

The entire Suzuki range is available at the dealership, including the Celerio city car, Vitara S compact SUV and all-new Swift Sport, while the forecourt has space for 25 approved used vehicles.

Servicing and MOTs will also be offered on-site, as well as warranty and bodyshop repairs.

Dale Wyatt, director of automobile at Suzuki GB, said: ‘We are very pleased to welcome the Startin Group to the Suzuki family. They have been serving customers for nearly two centuries, and are a trusted and recognised name throughout Worcestershire.

‘With their unrelenting commitment to providing a high level of care and service, coupled with the appeal of the Suzuki product range, they are an ideal partner to represent our brand and to build our presence across the county. We are delighted to have the Startin Group on board.’

Gerald Freeman, managing director of the Startin Group, said: ‘Adding Suzuki to our existing portfolio made perfect business sense to expand our reach within the area.

‘With today’s more cautious consumers, they are looking for cars which are well equipped, reliable and economical to run, which therefore makes Suzuki a very competitive proposition for motorists.

‘Plus, with the exciting arrival of the all-new Swift Sport, there’s no better time to be launching our new showroom in Worcester.’
