Subaru UK secures increased supply of the BRZ

Time 8:42 am, July 31, 2013

IM_3107SUBARU UK has negotiated a larger annual allocation of the rear-wheel drive BRZ sports car for the British market.

The increased supply of the sports car from the brand’s Gunma factory in Ota-city, Japan, will enable the brand to meet the demand for the BRZ, with buyers estimated to take delivery of new models within two to six weeks of placing an order.

This announcement coincides with the confirmation that a number of Subaru UK-approved BRZ performance, handling and styling upgrades, courtesy of Pro-R, will soon be unveiled for the UK market and available in the coming months through Subaru’s UK dealer network.

Managing director of Subaru UK, Paul Tunnicliffe, said: ‘The BRZ has been a sales success for us, but we’ve always struggled to match demand with supply.

‘We’re hoping that our larger allocation will address this, and we’re confident that a greater number of car-loving buyers will now be able to appreciate the BRZ’s blend of light weight, usable power and fine handling characteristics.’
