Monday, February 13

BMW has revealed the all-new V8 twin-turbocharged M6. When it arrives in September, it’ll cost £93,795 for the coupe, and £98,995 for the convertible.

Average used car values fell 6.3 per cent in January compared to December’s ‘record values’, says BCA’s latest report. Read more

Skoda is celebrating its best-ever January in its 117-year history. Read more

CITROEN has recruited a new dealer: Richard Sanders Ltd. Read more

Mazda has priced up its new compact crossover. The CX-5 starts from £21,395 and is available in 18 different models.

Nissan has reported a 174 per cent increase in sales of its LCV range in 2011 compared with 2010.

UK customers can buy the new Chevy Camaro for £34,995 or £39,995 for the soft-top convertible model.



Wednesday, February 15

AUDI has revealed its all-new RS model – the RS4 Avant. The 4.2-litre machine delivers 448bhp, and gets to 60mph in 4.5 seconds. Pricing is yet to be finalised.

Renault has more than 200 deposits on the table for its Twizy electric car – and it is likely to outsell the Fluence model too. Read more

Volkswagen handed over 419,200 vehicles to customers worldwide in January.

Thursday, February 16

KIA, in conjunction with the Norfolk Motor Group, have supplied a Kia Sorento to the mechanics workshop at HM Prison Wayland.

Chrysler has added a Black&Red edition to its Ypsilon range. The car comes with £3k worth of added kit, and costs from £12,750.

Porsche has revealed its new baby SUV. Called the Macan, production will begin in 2013.

Bristol has appointed two key positions – a general manager and a chairman to its advisory board – to take the iconic British firm into the next chapter.

Friday, February 17

BMW Group has opened the world’s largest showroom for BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and BMW motorcycles in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The showroom is 35,000-square-metres and took three years to build.

CAR manufacturing in the UK has hit a 16-month all-time high, says the SMMT. Read more

Mini has opened a pop-up shop Westfield Stratford City to showcase its Coupe and Countryman models. It’ll be open for a year.

BCA has reported a new weekly record for the number of vehicles sold to online bidders has been set. Read more
