WORTHING Suzuki has donated a new S-Cross to a local hospice.
For the next six months, the crossover, which is worth nearly £18,000, will be used by St Barnabas House nurses for home visits to patients across the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield areas.
It will then be exchanged by the family-run dealer for another vehicle at no cost to St Barnabas House. The staff will benefit from nearly 900 litres of interior space to carry equipment, as well as a combined fuel economy of up to 68 mpg, with low emissions to match.
Handing over the S-Cross, dealer principal Mark Davis said: ‘We are always looking to give back to the community so are delighted to be supporting such a worthwhile cause.
‘The St Barnabas House hospice is renowned for the work that it does to help others, and we are pleased that our contribution will assist the staff in the delivery of their outstanding service 365 days a year.’
The charity said on its website: ‘Thank you very much to Mark and Worthing Suzuki for their support!’
