CROATIA has become the latest home for Aston Martin, as the company’s first dealer opens in Zagreb.
The standalone site can accommodate 5 cars, and follows the brand’s well-established retail design guidelines. It also has a dedicated service facility.
It’s been opened in partnership with Spectator Grupa, luxury brand specialists in Croatia. And is all part of Aston Martin’s plans to see the downturn through.
The British maker is continuing with its aggressive dealer expansion policy despite the recession. This, it says, will leave it ‘uniquely positioned to react quickly to an upturn in the global economy’.
Aston Martin won’t stop there in 2009, either. It will also open further worldwide dealers in:
• Canada
• Czech Republic
• Greece
• Sweden
• Brazil
Major projects are also under construction in Hanover, Germany and Austin and Charlotte in the USA.
Director of business development, Philipp Grosse Kleimann, said: ‘Before entering the Croatian market, we have taken our time to carefully consider the right location and partner for Aston Martin.
‘In Spectator Grupa and their facility in Zagreb, I am confident we have found the partner who perfectly befits our brand.’
He also reassured worried dealers as to the health of the company. ‘Aston Martin is in the strongest position it has ever been.
‘With our global dedicated dealer network, it is important that we remain committed to our bold expansion plans, so we remain well positioned for the upturn in the economy.’
