Time 10:08 am, October 12, 2018

CITY Auction Group has appointed Emma Woodward as the new business development manager at Rockingham.

Emma was formerly responsible for managing dealer group relationships at Aston Barclay and prior to that, she was a manufacturer buyer development executive at BCA.

Emma has joined the management team and will be responsible for identifying new sales leads; selling City Auction Group’s services to major franchised dealer groups, car supermarkets and independent motor retailers; building concrete relationships to develop new vendors for the new dual-lane auction facilities to be introduced in January 2019; and introducing digital remarketing solutions.

Michael Tomalin, managing director of City Auction Group, said: ‘We are excited to welcome Emma to the management team. She brings blue-chip sales experience in remarketing and refurbishment and has the right skill set and experience to develop our current client relationships and bring on new customers.

‘Emma will be responsible for helping us to develop and grow the business, so we can meet our ambitious growth targets over the next three years.’

Emma said: ‘I am delighted to be joining City Auction Group at this dynamic period in the company’s development. With major investment in a new head office and auction facilities in early 2018, I am confident that we will be able to attract new customers to the world-class refurbishment and remarking solutions on offer at Rockingham.’
