Time 8:54 am, November 4, 2015

MOTORPOINT is offering a free breakfast to every customer who visits its new Birtley site this weekend.

The car supermarket is set to open a £5m supersite on Durham Road in Birtley near Gateshead on Friday, November 6. The branch, stretching over nine acres, will house 500 new and nearly new low mileage vehicles from 35 different manufacturers.

In order to celebrate the opening of its new site, Motorpoint will be giving away a breakfast butty (as well as a hot or cold drink) to everyone who visits the branch between 10-1pm on Friday, November 6, and Saturday, November 7, as well as between 11-1pm on Sunday, November 8. Visitors will also get the chance to win £250 worth of shopping vouchers and a goody bag over the course of the weekend.

The opening of its new Birtley branch is part of a multi-million-pound expansion programme by Motorpoint, and is the latest site in its growing portfolio, including Birmingham, Burnley, Chingford, Derby, Glasgow, Newport, Peterborough and Widnes.

Mark Carpenter, managing director of Motorpoint, said: ‘We can’t wait to officially open the doors to our latest site in Birtley and give motorists in the North East the opportunity to experience our award-winning combination of choice, value and service. To celebrate the special occasion we’ll be cooking up a storm in our purpose-built café with free breakfast butties for everyone coming through the doors on Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning.’

Motorpoint Birtley is located on Durham Road, Birtley, County Durham, DH3 2BQ.
