MANHEIM has renewed an exclusive 40,000-unit remarketing deal with motor group Listers.
The partnership, which is the result of a tender, will see high-quality stock from Listers continue to flow through the auction company’s Birmingham centre over the next three years.
Manheim managing director Tim Hudson said: ‘The partnership with Listers is a great achievement for the business. We have demonstrated our ability to provide an unrivalled, world-class service to our partners, and we look forward to working closely once again with Listers over the years ahead.
‘Listers has been selling through Manheim Birmingham since 2010, and their high-quality stock has always proved to be a major draw for Midlands-based buyers at our Monday and Wednesday sales. We are proud to work with them and excited to continue the tradition of offering great sales and service together.
‘This fantastic news comes at the end of a very strong year for Manheim that has seen us renew contracts with a number of major clients. We also launched state-of-the-art facilities at Bruntingthorpe, which is now one of the most innovative and technologically advanced auction centres in the UK. We look forward to developing further innovations, both in-lane and online, in the year ahead.’
Listers group used car manager Andy O’Connell said: ‘We are really pleased to have renewed our contract with Manheim to remarket our trade stock.
‘We look forward to continuing with what we feel is a great working partnership and appreciate all the hard work and effort that we know will go into making our Manheim sales a continued success.’
Launched in 1979, Listers is now England’s largest privately owned motor group, selling and buying vehicles from a number of manufacturers including Ford, Jaguar Land Rover, Seat and Skoda.
